Hallo,
deine herangehensweise ist korrekt. Wenn du keinen Taschenrechner nutzen darfst, ist es wirklich der schnellste Weg \( M^8 \cdot M^4 \) zu rechnen( zumindest während der Schulzeit ;) )
Das darfst du auch, da die Matrizenmultiplikation assoziativ ist, also es gilt
\( M^{12} = M\cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \cdot M\cdot M \cdot M \cdot M \\ \Rightarrow M^{12} = (M\cdot M) \cdot (M \cdot M) \cdot (M \cdot M) \cdot (M \cdot M) \cdot (M\cdot M) \cdot (M \cdot M) \\ \Rightarrow M^{12} = M^2 \cdot M^2 \cdot M^2 \cdot M^2 \cdot M^2 \cdot M^2 \\ \Rightarrow M^{12} = (M^2 \cdot M^2) \cdot (M^2 \cdot M^2) \cdot (M^2 \cdot M^2) \\ \qquad \vdots \\ \Rightarrow M^{12} = M^6 \cdot M^4 \)
